Straight GFRP Rebars

Straight GFRP rebars are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and engineered for strong, long-lasting performance in modern infrastructure.

Manufacturing Excellence

Straight GFRP rebars are produced through a sophisticated pultrusion process.

This combines continuous glass fiber rovings with carefully formulated thermoset resins, typically high-performance vinyl ester systems engineered for superior chemical resistance and durability.

This advanced technique ensures consistent fiber alignment, optimal resin impregnation, and uniform cross-sectional properties throughout each rebar's length.

Superior Material Properties

The resulting composite material exhibits remarkable characteristics surpassing traditional steel. GFRP rebars are exceptionally lightweight, weighing approximately 75% less than equivalent steel bars while maintaining superior tensile strength.

Their inherent non-corrosive nature eliminates the primary cause of reinforced concrete deterioration, significantly reducing transportation costs, simplifying handling, and improving construction efficiency.

Diverse Construction Applications

Straight GFRP rebars have proven effective across a wide spectrum of construction projects, excelling where corrosion resistance is paramount.

These applications include critical infrastructure like highway bridges exposed to deicing salts, underground tunnels in aggressive soil conditions, coastal and marine structures subjected to chloride exposure, and industrial facilities requiring chemical resistance for long-term structural integrity.

Bent GFRP Rebars

Bent GFRP rebars are precisely shaped for strong bends and provide flexible, corrosion-resistant reinforcement.

Advanced Manufacturing Process

Bent GFRP rebars are produced using a two-stage manufacturing process that begins with partially cured composite material made through controlled extrusion. At this stage, the fibers and resin have enough flexibility for accurate bending while still maintaining structural integrity.

The rebars are then shaped into hooks, stirrups, and other custom forms while partially cured, ensuring precise geometry. This process requires strict temperature control, specialized equipment, and skilled technical

Structural Performance and Engineering Applications

Advanced manufacturing methods, including MST-BAR technology, ensure bent GFRP rebars maintain strong performance even at bend points by optimizing fiber design, resin chemistry, and processing conditions.

They match the shaping flexibility of bent steel but offer superior corrosion resistance and durability, making them ideal for column ties, stirrups, hooks, and other reinforcement shapes requiring reliable load transfer.

Our GFRP rebars offer lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant solutions for modern infrastructure, available in straight or custom bent shapes to meet specific structural needs. Contact us or set an appointment for detailed information and quotations.
